Dear forum members,
Could you please suggest me welding consumables for welding material SA-333 6 to material SA-335 P11 using GTAW and SMAW processes

Regarding the GTAW process you could use ER80S-B2 (ASME II, part C, SFA-5.28, A7.4) that among others is used for dissimilar joining like 1 ¼ Cr - ½ Mo steel to carbon steel. For the SMAW process you could use E8018-B2 (ASME II, part C, SFA-5.5, A7.1.2) that matches the chemical compositon of SA-335 P11. However, if the weld will be left in as-welded condition or the accuracy of the PWHT is questionable the compination of ER70S-B2L (ASME II, part C, SFA-5.28, A7.5) rod with E7018-B2L (ASME II, part C, SFA-5.5, A7.1.2) electrode is recommended since they result in lower strength and hardness levels as well as in improved ductility because of the lower carbon content and thus they exhibit greater resistance to cracking.
